RIOT Wireless
RIOT Wireless, LLC "RIOT” develops and deploys wireless IOT Edge Devices for large scale specialty applications. RIOT invested in building a wireless, fully integrated, single package IOT Edge Device platform. This greatly reduces the cost while improving the performance of the solution set, thus changing the business case dramatically. RIOT devices are suitable for HAZMAT, explosive, caustic, and acidic environments (UL 913 C1D1). RIOT has designed its products so that they are supported by various wireless backbones including LoRa, cellular (NB-IoT), satellite and BLE.
Proven and Scalable
The accuracy and reliability of RIOT products have been proven in large-scale deployments from the harsh environments of Alberta, Canada to the deserts of California. Large scale deployment requires a product to be built from the ground up to be “Plug & Play”. Our TLM’s are designed to fit standard tank fittings, preconfigured to transmit messages. To achieve the goal of quick installs means: No programming, No Calibration, No wires, No external antenna. All unit parameters are set at the factory.

Cellular, satellite, LoRa. Low power design is one of our core competencies, so, for example, a level sensor running on the LoRa network can provide hourly measurements for over 3 years on AA batteries (or much longer with reduced reporting). Other supporting information is included with each reported measurement (i.e. level, temperature, measurement quality, battery status, etc.).
Mobile Phone App
This is an ideal tool for installers or account managers.
The app checks tank status, sensor status, and radio signal strength.
